Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This Privacy Policy explains how IndCalculators ("we", "us") handles information when you visit indcalculators.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
IndCalculators is an independent, informational website providing free Indian income-tax guidance and a tax calculator. You can contact us at network.architects.group@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Contact form / email: if you use our contact form or email us, we receive the name, email address and message you provide, solely to respond to you.
- CA consultation form: if you choose to request a Chartered Accountant consultation, the details you enter are collected through a Google Forms form and are used only to connect you with a professional and follow up on your request (see section 5).
- Server logs: our web server may automatically log standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) for security and to keep the Site running.
- Cookies & similar technologies: used for basic functionality, analytics and — with your consent — advertising (see below).
We do not ask for or store your PAN, financial statements or tax figures on this content site. Any figures you enter into the calculator — and any documents you upload to auto-fill it, such as Form 16, AIS or a capital-gains statement — are processed entirely in your browser. Those files are never uploaded to, or stored on, our servers.
3. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We show a consent banner on your first visit. If you decline, advertising cookies are not loaded. You can clear or block cookies anytime in your browser settings.
4. Google AdSense & third-party advertising
With your consent, we display ads through Google AdSense. To do this, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices.
For more information on how Google uses data, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
5. CA consultation form (Google Forms)
The Site offers an optional "Talk to a CA" form so you can request a consultation with a qualified Chartered Accountant. This form is hosted on Google Forms, and any details you submit through it are collected and stored by Google on our behalf, then shared with the CA we connect you to. We use this information only to arrange and follow up on your consultation — we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.
- Please share only what is necessary to describe your query. Avoid entering sensitive identifiers such as your full PAN, passwords or bank details in the form.
- Submitting the form is entirely voluntary; you can always email us instead.
- Google's handling of the data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- You can ask us to delete a consultation request you have submitted by emailing us.
Any advice provided by an independent CA is between you and that professional; IndCalculators is not a party to, and is not responsible for, that professional relationship.
6. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage (e.g. page views) to improve the Site.
7. How we use information
We use the information above to operate and secure the Site, respond to your enquiries, arrange CA consultations you request, understand aggregate usage, and (with consent) display advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Third-party links
The Site links to third-party websites and services (such as the income-tax e-filing portal, Google, and Google Forms). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Your choices
- Decline advertising cookies via our consent banner.
- Manage or delete cookies in your browser.
- Opt out of personalised ads via the Google/aboutads links above.
- Email us to request deletion of any correspondence or CA consultation request you have sent us.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
